Overall, it's a good product, but it took a bit of effort to install the required software on Windows 7. It requires Microsoft .Net Framework 4.8. The solution was to uninstall the previous version, then install the standalone installer for 4.0, and finally update to 4.8 from the website. Otherwise, it didn't work.

The hardware works perfectly; the associated software does too.

I had to search on the internet for a detailed user manual for the software; the link provided with the product only gave general instructions, which are very intuitive.

Since I installed a DMS system, scanning on my combo device was too slow. With the Netum Book Scanner next to my laptop, scanning is extremely fast and of impressive quality. Everything works as it should. The fact that the software wasn't 100% translated is not an issue. The device itself is a combination of aluminum and plastic and gives a very high-quality impression. The feel is also excellent.
